Gapuma Group Appointed Clariant Well Service Additives Distributor

Gapuma Group has been appointed as a distributor of Clariant’s Well Service Additives (WSA) portfolio across Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana.
The appointment gives Gapuma’s customers access to Clariant’s HOSTADRILL®, HOSTAMER® and HOSTASTIM® product families, used in drilling, cementing, stimulation and deliquification applications.
The agreement builds on Gapuma’s established regional distribution network and follows the Group’s recent debut in the ICIS Top 100 Chemical Distributors, where it ranked first among UK-based distributors.
LONDON, 29 July 2026 – Gapuma Group, the London-based international trading company specialising in commodities and speciality chemicals, today announced its appointment by Clariant, the Muttenz-headquartered speciality chemicals company, as a distributor of Clariant’s Well Service Additives (WSA) portfolio across Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana.
Under the agreement, Gapuma Group – through its affiliated companies – will distribute Clariant’s HOSTADRILL®, HOSTAMER® and HOSTASTIM® product families across the three territories, serving customers in drilling, cementing, stimulation and deliquification applications. The appointment strengthens Clariant’s route-to-market strategy in West Africa and adds a globally recognised speciality chemicals portfolio to Gapuma’s offering for its regional customers.
