PARATONE® viscosity modifiers are essential in formulating multi-grade engine oils, automatic transmission fluids, power steering fluids, gear oils, greases, and certain hydraulic fluids, with the most common applications found in passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks. To complement these additives, Gapuma also provides a comprehensive range of Group I and II base oils, offering the perfect combination for creating high-quality lubricant blends tailored to your company’s needs.

Antioxidants play a crucial role in the lubricants industry by preventing or slowing down the oxidation process, which can degrade lubricants and reduce their effectiveness.
Group I base oils are the least refined among the five groups of base oils classified by the American Petroleum Institute (API). They contain less than 90% saturates and more than 0.03% sulphur. They have a viscosity index ranging from 80 to 120.
Due to their lower cost and good solvency, Group I base oils are commonly used in applications where high performance is not critical, such as in industrial lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and some automotive oils.
