Celebrating Diwali at Gapuma Group

On Wednesday 15th October, our London Headquarters came alive with colour, rhythm, and shared laughter as we celebrated Diwali together. We were joined by colleagues from our LATAM operation and our PMC office for an afternoon that reminded us why shared moments matter.
A highlight of the celebration was an energetic Bollywood dance workshop organised by our Quality & Office Manager, Ash Unadkat, and led by the ever-spirited Simran Mehta. Skill was optional — enthusiasm was not — and the room quickly filled with joy and good humour, perfectly reflecting the spirit of Diwali: the triumph of light over darkness, and happiness shared in good company.
The festivities continued with a feast prepared by Ash, his talented wife Deepa Unadkat, and their son, Krishan Unadkat, who joined us from Nottingham University for the day. The menu featured fiery paneer in sweet and sour sauce, Deepa’s mother’s tamarind-infused vegetable samosas, chicken wings from Boulevard Club in northwest London, and a superb lamb keema — each dish a testament to warmth, hospitality, and family tradition.
