Our people makes Gapuma what it is today!

Whilst we take an active interest in the development of the individuals in the Gapuma Group, we also take an interest in our local communities, with each country office having its own local projects. In the United Kingdom we support The Outward Bound Trust (www.outwardbound.org.uk) sponsoring a local inner-city school to take a group of students to North Wales each year.

We firmly believe that learning in and experiencing the natural environment positively affects the development of young people. In today’s electronic age increasing amounts of time are spent watching television and being online.

Research shows that time spent outdoors increases levels of self-esteem and mood, both of which are widely known to be short and long terms determinants of mental health. (The Wildlife Trusts 2015).
